Organizational Change & Change Management

There are different overall types of organizational change, including planned versus unplanned, organization-wide versus change to one part of the organization, incremental versus transformational to name a few.  Regardless of the type of change, unless you employ change management the chances of success are minimal.

What is Change Management?

Change Management is like Project Management, but it is the “people side” of projects. Change management is proactively managing the people side of change to achieve the desired business results.  The consequences of not implementing Change Management may include:

Ø project failures

Ø productivity loss

Ø turnover of valued employees

Ø delayed implementation or over-budget

Ø disruption to customers and business
