Team Development Concept

Work teams are an important component of Lean Manufacturing. They enhance the performance of work cells and improve quality efforts.  Teams are usually organized into small work groups of 5-15 people for problem solving or work management.

It should be noted that team building is not an easy task.  Teams require training, compatible workflow, compatible organization structure, understanding management and patience.  Done correctly, teamwork provides superior motivation, enhanced coordination, improved problem solving and better decision making.
